Medals Revealed for the 2017 OneAmerica 500 Festival Mini-Marathon
Official Designs of Indy Mini Medal and Challenges, 5K, Miler Series
INDIANAPOLIS (January 26, 2017) – The 500 Festival, a nonprofit organization providing life-enriching events and programs celebrating the legacy of the Indianapolis 500, today reveals the designs of the 2017 OneAmerica 500 Festival Mini-Marathon medal, as well as challenge, 5K and Miler Series. Participants of the Mini-Marathon and other challenges will receive the coordinating medal(s) and commemorative shirts to be released later.
Mini-Marathon Medal: The classic Mini-Marathon Medal features a shining chrome face atop the state outline on the right and the iconic Indianapolis Motor Speedway Pagoda with teal glass windows on the left, all hanging from a checkered flag patterned ribbon. Registration for the Mini-Marathon is currently $75.
Mega Mini Medal: The Mega Mini Medal highlights a bright lime green theme with a transparent window that encompasses a green state of Indiana just left of a Mega Mini inscription, all hanging from a green-filtered photo of the race. This medal claims bragging rights for finishers of 16.2 total miles between the Finish Line 500 Festival 5K and Mini-Marathon in the same morning. Registration for the Mega Mini Challenge is currently $130.
Mini Maniac Medal: TheMini Maniac Medal boasts a light blue color scheme contrasting a blackened medal face and a similarly transparent cover to the left. This medal hangs from a ribbon with a beaming blue-filtered race photo and awaits our most enthusiastic participants who complete each Miler Series race and the Mini on May 6; a total of 32.1 miles. Registration for the Mini Maniac Challenge is currently $135.
Finish Line 500 Festival 5K Medal: Additionally, the 5K Medal features a shadowing Indy skyline atop a downtown Indy grid. The classic blue and lime green colors come to life on this silver face while clouds shaped like bricks cover the sky. The 5K medal hangs from a ribbon identical to the Mini ribbon. Registration for the 5K is currently $35.
Miler Series Medal: The Podium Finisher Medal awaits those who complete all three races of the Miler Series, presented by OrthoIndy. This medal features various aspects of downtown Indy while hanging from a ribbon specific to the Miler Series. Individual Miler Series rates may vary while Podium Finisher registration is $40.

One of the nation’s largest half-marathons, the OneAmerica 500 Festival Mini-Marathon is the 500 Festival’s largest fundraiser. Race registrations help support the 500 Festival’s free youth programs and events. Now through February 15, the Mini-Marathon registration fee is $75. Pricing after February 15 is $85.
