Deferral & Virtual Information

We’re sorry to hear that you won’t be able to join us in person for the OneAmerica 500 Festival Mini-Marathon and Delta Dental 500 Festival 5K. Transfers are not allowed and per the refund policy, entries are non-refundable; however, we are happy to extend the below option for you to still participate!

If you are unable to participate due to pregnancy, injury, or military deployment, we offer deferrals to the 2023 running events with proof. Please submit either your doctor’s note stating injury/pregnancy or proof of deployment to by May 1, 2022.

To remain fair and consistent, deferrals do not extend to anyone besides the injured, pregnant, or deployed participant, and we must receive proof by May 1, 2022. Deferred entries cannot extend past the following year. No exceptions.

If you are unable to participate for any other reason, we invite you to join us virtually!

You must email if this is your preferred option. Then, on race weekend, simply participate in the Mini-Marathon or 5K remotely and send in your results. Once we have received them, we will mail your bib, shirt, and medal! We will share more information with our virtual participants as we get closer to race weekend.

If there are any questions about our deferral or virtual participation options, please email
