Mini with a Meaning

Mini with a Meaning team and team member registration is now closed.

The Mini with a Meaning program gives participants the opportunity to make their OneAmerica 500 Festival Mini-Marathon or Delta Dental 500 Festival 5K experience even more meaningful by raising awareness and funds in support of a non-profit organization. All #IndyMini and 5K registrations help support the 500 Festival's free youth and educational programming. By participating in Mini with a Meaning, runners and walkers have the ability to expand their impact even further within the Indianapolis community.

As part of the Mini with a Meaning Program, non-profit organizations will create an online fundraising page for their Mini with a Meaning team, specific to the 2022 OneAmerica 500 Festival Mini-Marathon & Delta Dental 500 Festival 5K. Organization may utilize any fundraising platform of their choice and 100% of the proceeds will go to the respective non-profit organization. Non-profit organizations determine their fundraising goal amount. Funds may be utilized for specific initiatives or overall support of the organization.

All Mini with a Meaning Partners will be featured on the Mini with a Meaning webpage on IndyMini.com including a link to their fundraising page and Team Captain contact information. OneAmerica 500 Festival Mini-Marathon & Delta Dental 500 Festival 5K registrants may contact the Mini with a Meaning Partner of their choice to join their team, donate and/or fundraise on behalf of their chosen organization.

Indiana Lyme Connect’s vision is to dramatically decrease the number of Lyme disease and other tick-borne illness cases in Indiana as Hoosiers become more informed and practice good prevention strategies and healthcare professionals employ more comprehensive diagnostic techniques and treatment.

Play Brigade

The Play Brigade is a collection of volunteers, corporations and community leaders dedicated to creating opportunities for inclusive play, recreation, and sports, where everyone participates and belongs, regardless of age or ability. Not for profit, but for the common good. We believe inclusion embraces the 20% of Americans living with a disability today; means more than ADA compliant or handicapped accessible; is the cornerstone of community; respects people with disabilities and their families as a blessing, not a burden, to their communities; and that children raised in inclusive communities become compassionate, smart, empathetic, courageous individuals who are good problem-solvers and team players.
